MIT Museum: Teen Science Cafes

Designed by teens for teens, Teen Science Cafes bring together scientists and students, grades 8-12 to explore new research and discuss what inspires and influences people to pursue careers in STEM.

Join local experts and participate in fun, interactive activities!

This is a free, in-person event exclusively for high school aged students. Food will be provided. Pre-registration required.


Saturday April 6

3–5pm

Our Teen Science Cafe will kick off with a talk by PhD candidate Chloé Gentgen, who will discuss her work in engineering space systems for deep-space robotic exploration, followed by a Q&A session.

Participants will then move to our Learning Labs, where several aerospace-themed activities will take place including mini-rocket making, a paper plane competition, and solar rover engineering.
